Cheesy Pasta

My hubby is a great fan of cheese and I don’t hate it either πŸ˜‰ I remember once during my pregnancy I wanted to eat cheesy pasta badly. We went to a famous italian restaurant, but I didn’t like the way they cooked it and was still craving for it. Then my hubby bought another cheesy pasta from pizza hut, but I didn’t like it either 😦 And then I tried making it at home the next day, loved it and got addicted to it to such an extent that used to cook it every other day πŸ˜› Well, let’s get down to its recipe πŸ™‚

Ingrdients:
Pasta(90% boiled in salted water)-4 cups
Mixed veg. parboiled or steamed(broccoli, beans, carrot or any veg. of your choice)-1 cup
Mixed bell pepper(diced)-1/2 cup
Garlic(finely chopped)-1 tbsp
White sauce-2 cups(if you don’t know how to make it, find it here https://theyoungindianmommies.wordpress.com/2013/02/17/how-to-make-white-sauce/)
Shredded cheese-1/2 cup
Black pepper-1/4 tsp
Salt-to taste
Oregano(dry)-1/4 tsp
Basil(dry)-1/4 tsp
Olive oil-2 tbsp

Method:
-> Heat oil in a pan and add garlic to it. After tossing once or twice(we don’t want garlic to be brown) add mixed bell peppers.
-> When the bell pepper is cooked till tender, add the boiled vegetable and salt.
-> Mix them well and add pasta, white sauce, black pepper, oregano, basil, salt and shredded cheese.
-> Let the pasta cook in the sauce for few minutes (don’t overcook).
[Tip-if your find your sauce a bit thick add little milk to it.]

Turn off the stove. Serve it hot.

You can also add mozzarella cheese on the top of it and bake it in the oven.

Now eat/serve it hot and say “cheese” πŸ˜›
